Bu oyunda başarılı olabilmek için pekçok yöntem var. Üretir savaşırsınız, müttefiklerinizle ortak zafer için çalışışırsınız, vs. vs. Ama zevk alabilmek için tanrıların güçlerini, üretebildiklerini yada size sundukları teknolojileri bilmek zorundasınız. Bu yüzden yazında mümkün olduğunca
Age of Mythology çift CD�den oluşuyor. Yaklaşık 20 dakikalık uzun bir kurulumdan sonrada hard diskinizde 907 megabyte�lık bir alan kaplıyor. İlk CD�yi taktığınızda karşınıza çıkan menüden oyunu install edin. Dikkat etmeniz gereken çok önemli bir nokta var. Ne yazık ki ben bu sorunu yaşadım. Ayrıca 2 kişiden daha aynı sorunun varlığını öğrendim. Hemen Microsoft Destek Hattını arayarak sorunun çözümünü araştırdım. Ne yazık ki bir cevap alamadım. Sorun MSXML4.0 kaynaklı idi. Install sırasında kurulumu yapılamamış bir dosya id. Nereden bulacağımı bilemediğm için önce CD�lerin içeriğini araştırmaya karar verdim. 2. CD�de sorunumun çözümünü buldum. MSXML klasöründe bulunan, �msxmlenu.msi� dosyasını kurduğunuzda sorununuz çözülüyor.
Acımasızca vahşet…
Kurulumdan sonra oyunu başlattım. Karşıma çıkan demoyu ağzım kulaklarıma varmış bir şekilde izlerken bunun demo olmadığını ve Ensemble Studios�un giriş introsu olduğunu gördüm. İçim bir hoş olmuştu. Bu etkiyi Age OF Empires 2�yi ilk kurduğumda dayaşamıştım. Intro�nun ardından oyunun demosu başladı. Gerçekten ama gerçekten müthiş yapılmış. Savaş alanından görüntüler, birbirine parçalarcasına saldıran yaratıklar, insanlar…
Demonun bitmesini sabırsızlıkla bekledim. Daha sonra kısa bir yükleme süresi ile oyunun açılmasını bekliyorsunuz. Oyunun menüsü geldiğinde biraz hayal kırıklığına uğradım desem yalan olmaz. �Age of Empires�ın karışık olmasına rağmen, aydınlık olan menüsü yerini karanlık fakat daha rahat bir ekrana bırakmış. Daha basit bir görüntüsü var idi. C-64 kullananlar bilir. Tasarım olarak C-64 oyunlarının menülerinden çok farklı değildi. Sadece daha güzel grafikler vardı.� diye düşünebilirsiniz. Benim düştüğüm hataya düşmeyin ve gidip options menüsünden özellikleri sisteminize göre ayarlayın.
